The C3 experience focuses on learning, application and feedback in a safe environment.

Learning

Members learn in three major ways:

  1. Learning path: Members follow a training path at their own pace.

  2. Themes: Every meeting has a theme that explores a technique to help improve communication skills.

  3. Observation: Members observe others practice their communication skills.

Application

Members can apply their developing skills during meetings through conversations:

  • Where they practice the skills the explored in the learning path.

  • To practice using the technique they covered in the theme.

Feedback

After every activity, observers can provide feedback on how the conversation resonated with them. Participants can also share their thoughts about the conversation and on the feedback that was provided.

Members can also share their experiences when they used their newfound techniques outside of meetings.

Safe environment

C3 meetings are designed to provide members and guests with a safe learning environment in which they can develop their communication and leadership skills. To do this, members and guests are asked to adhere to certain rules:

  1. No one is allowed to blame, shame, accuse or attack others whether they are present in this meeting or not.

  2. Speak in terms of I, not you.

  3. Do not diminish another person’s problems.

  4. Do not try to solve another person’s problem, unless they ask.

  5. Members might divulge some personal information. It’s expected that what is said in the meeting does not go any further.
